Oh boy….was it cold….not so much in the water (17 degrees) but 6 degrees out..with a westerly wind chill making it feel just above the zero degree mark. Out of the darkness before the swim were these intrepid SUP’s…Stand-Up-Paddleboarders….with navigation lights on ! Thanks Dave U. & Chris for the swim….Linda had already been in…Ruth too….and when Linda says it’s freezing…you better believe it. Judy strolled down later for a coffee with the departing Chris. p.s. The fresh water shower gave us all Ice Cream headaches…wow..was that water cold !
