Sunny weather heralded the start of the week as the crowds assembled for the morning ritual. Helen was there after a long sojourn at McMasters. Chris arrived with daughter Kate in tow making preparations for a long swim. It seems swimming to the post is not enough of a challenge for these two, as they plan on competing in the Bronte to Bondi swim or is that vice versa? Whichever, real idiot fare! Paul and Phil completed their pre-dawn ritual with ease and were departing as the next shift comprising of Bruce, Bevan, and David F. arrived and began and commenced their pre-race checks. The only one missing was Judy who was no doubt recovering from her week of walkabout south of the border.
