Bevan proved his mettle as a REAL IDIOT this morning by heading out to the Cat ON HIS OWN for an End of Summer treat. I had arrived a bit late and was reliably informed by both Kerstin and Malcolm that Bevan was heading to the Cat, so I set out after him. I breathed in a lot of water in the chop before finally stopping at the Cat. Looking around, I thought where the hell is Bevan?!
I spied him heading for the Barrel and deliberated for a few milliseconds before deciding to head back to the beach ON MY OWN. So two REAL IDIOTS way out there on a grey, windy day…
I have been watching footage lately of the drones that have been used to film marine life off Ballina. Fascinating stuff and I think it helped the decision making process somewhat.
